The people caught between the Houses. This list grows with every chapter.
Sired first by the Dominion, then re-sired by an elder of the Velmarq who saved him from a slow, cursed death. That second siring makes his blood mixed, a violation the Dominion has never forgiven, and it has left him shunned by the House he was born into.
He belongs to the Velmarq now, but the Serathe want him too, not as a killer, but as a leader, since tradition demands their leader come from outside their own ranks, and his unclaimed status makes him exactly the outsider they need.
At the center of it all, Dom is a fundamentally good man trying to love fully in a world that keeps asking him to survive instead.
Elise carries an old blade passed down through her family, her grandmother's grandmother's before it was ever hers. She has spent long enough at Dom's side to know exactly what he holds back, and exactly why, and she has stopped being willing to be protected from it.
Where Dom sees restraint as the price of loving her safely, Elise sees it as a wall he still hasn't fully let down. More of her story is still being written.
A shipping yard ambush over stolen goods left six men dead and Ronan still on his feet, wounded twice over and refusing to go down. Dom watched him do it and recognized something in that refusal he hadn't seen up close in two hundred years.
Dom offered him the same choice someone once offered him, a long time ago. Ronan took it, dying human on a warehouse floor and waking up something else entirely, sired into a bloodline no House will call clean, belonging to no one but the man who turned him.
What he does with the hunger now stirring in him, and who comes looking once word spreads that an unclaimed sire is loose in the city, is still being written.
Every House has its own players, and not all of them have stepped into the light yet. New character reveals arrive alongside new chapters.
