The Refusal

The harder something tries to control, cage, or break an Ashvane, the harder they become to actually hurt, pain and defiance feeding each other in their blood. It only holds as long as they're still fighting it: the moment they stop resisting, so does the toughness.

The Severing

Can break supernatural bindings on someone else, a Dominion decree, a blood bond, another House's hold on a person. Cost: the backlash of breaking it transfers into them.
