The Scholars
Masters of the old rites and the forbidden histories, older than the city itself, the Corvaris remember what everyone else has been made to forget. Knowledge is their House's true bloodline, passed down, guarded, and occasionally weaponized.
Real ritual witchcraft, candles, crystals, incense, sigils drawn in ash or blood, divination read the old way. Blood is one ingredient among many, not the whole practice. Cost: like every Major Blood Gift, it draws a small, often unnoticed toll on their own vitality, and leaves them hungrier sooner than they otherwise would be.
Can read the history soaked into a place, an object, or a person, old blood spilled long since scrubbed away, a room's forgotten past, the truth behind a lie no one living remembers telling. Cost: they feel whatever they're reading as if it happened to them, the pain, the fear, the grief, all of it real in the moment it's read. Corvaris learn to compartmentalize, walling what they take in away from the rest of their mind, which is what keeps the cost survivable. Getting a memory back means going to where it's stored and opening it, though, and the harsher ones carry their original mood out with them, so a Corvaris can shift from one moment to the next as if a different person had walked in.
